Hello Mr. Rinker. My name is Shafira and i used to study at ISOI. you were one of my teacher back then when i was in grade three in 2001. Its been so long and i accidentally hash-tag ISOI on twiiter to see your post about a culture of caring and i thought i recognized your name. So that's how i came across your blog. :) i am 22 now and living in Malaysia. I am studying a degree in TESL here in one of my local University and it would be such an honour if i could use all the information on your blog here for future reference. I would like to be like you someday. travelling across the world teaching in International Schools. But I am afraid the education system here in Malaysia is a bit complicated when it comes to applying jobs abroad. I know this might not sound like a proper introduction for both of us. You may or may not remember me. But i hope you will reply me Mr.Rinker :) Thanks !

Hey John, I heard that you are into flat classroom type stuff. Wanted to share a successful project that I just completed in PYP PE. It was a test run and we experienced lots of logistical issues, but pulled it out. Was a great experience. Here is the link to my blog that explains it, http://www.pyppewithandy.com/2/post/2012/03/post-title-click-and-type-to-edit2.html
Here is one of the other links:

http://www.pyppewithandy.com/2/post/2012/03/flat-classroom-peer-assessment-project-update-nanjing-international-school-and-united-nations-international-school1.html

I have documented the process starting with my first meeting with the other teacher from UNIS in Hanoi who has worked on this project with me. So, you can also see several other blogs that shows the process unfolding.

If you can share this with other flat classroom minded folk, I would appreciate it as I am trying to kick start an ongoing initiative to connect PYP PE programs. Thanks John. Talk soon!
